Smile Cattlianthe Mary Elizabeth Bohn in full bloom

My full-size Ctt Mary Elizabeth Bohn in its best bloom ever! 14 flowers and 2 buds on 5 inflorescences. Flower size approx 10 x 10 cm. This cattleya was originally a Laliocattleya, became a Guarisophleya for a short while, and now bears the genus Cattlianthe. A lovely "blue" orchid!

Very lovely, whatever they decide to call it, and welcome aboard.

That is beautiful! I didn't know that such a hybrid existed but I'll certainly watch for them now.

I've had this hybrid for 9 years. It grows quickly here in Singapore, and flowers regularly, usually from 3-5 blooms. I've divided and shared cuttings several times. This present growth is about 5 years old. Very rewarding to grow.
