Default Epidendrum schomburgkii Lindl.

This well known species is spread through the nort portion of the South America (Brazil, Venezuela, Colombia, Equador). The canes can be tall and produce a wonderful ball of flowers, which are large for this kind of cane-like Epi. Mine is still a seedling flowering for the first time.

Dear Mauro.

One more name change. This is now Epidendrum macrocarpum - an earlier name by about 40 years based on a specimen from French Guiana.

Hope that helps, Eric
