Default Pcc. Little Nuggets 'Mendenhall' HCC/AOS

This little guy used to be Epl. Little Nuggets 'Mendenhall' HCC/AOS, but with all of teh nomeclature changes taking place these days, it is now a Pcc...which is short for Procycleya.

I've had this clone for a few years now, and it is really doing a great job this spring...and the fragrance is fabulous!

Enjoy!

Very pretty blooms! I love yellow/orange orchids. I've never ever heard of Procycleya, how long ago did the name change happen?

That's very pretty! The yellow is a unique shade.

I think I'm about to give up on all the new names.

Hi camille,
This guy used to be an Epilaelia. It is a cross between Epilaelia Westconnett Gold and Encyclia tampensis...only Westconnett Gold is now considered to be a Sophrothechea (when crossed with an Encyclia it is a Procycleya), which is actually its second nomeclature change since this cross was first registered...but wait...it will be changing again, as soon as the old laelia to sophronitis to cattleya changes are complete...for now, just use a pencil...it's easier to erase.
