Something does not appear to be right here. Are you certain that the plant is labeled correctly? I don't claim to be an expert, but all the Golden Tang flowers I have seen do not have lips like that. Most only have a little bit of red veining and mine barely has any and is almost a clear yellow.

Yes i'm sure about the label.
This yellow one on your photo is due to the end of blooming, in the begginig is more red.

I am not disputing the label. Labels CAN be wrong though. I am not sure I am even disputing the plant either. All I suggested was that I had never seen a GT that was anything other than a clear yellow with a lightly veined red lip. I searched MANY sites while determining a price for mine when I was considering selling it. This is MY experience.

Your comment about the stage of the blooming of my plant is out of line though. Should have asked, not assumed. That image is taken with freshly bloomed flowers and they never have more than a VERY slight red to the lip, almost clear.
