Default Bc Maikai x L. rubescens

And now for something completely different.

For some reason not named yet, as far as I can tell. Gets the florifierousness of Maikai. I'm not big into these, but my friend who is also a judge really likes this one. I'm not convinced that it is all that much better than Maikai. Not the world's best picture.

The rubescens adds the dark color in the throat of the lip and changes the shape a bit. An interesting hybrid!

As you all know I enjoy that shade of color. Bluish types! That is a lot of flowers!!! Congrats!

I see what you mean. I really like this flower, but it isn't my favorite. Whites need to be something special, and (in my opinion) this isn't special. Sorry, but while I like the display, the plant is ho-hum. Sorry, but that's my feelings.

My thoughts on it too. I like the amount of flowers on such a small plant. The individual flowers are interesting and maybe an improvement over Maikai, but honestly, they don't do much for me either. When you've seen a few nodosa hybrids you've seen them all.

I think if I had to choose between Maikai 'Mayumi' and mine, I'd take mine though. Form is better.

That's for sure! If I were to own a Cat alliance plant this MIGHT be a candidate. But I prefer other things. Thanks for showing it, anyway.
