It's more about having a piece of orchid history than the plant itself. It's worth whatever someone wants to pay to have that piece. That said:

A virus test would be absolutely required. I have heard much hearsay that maybe one non-virused division of this cultivar exists in the world.

Proof that this is the real 'Firmin Lambeau' FCC/RHS is unlikely to come by, and not offered or guaranteed by seller.

This whole thing sounds familiar, didn't this seller try this before? Maybe a different plant but the MO is the same.
