Keep the plant in total darkness at night and it will start to emit a wonderful fragrance after a few hours, much like B. nodosa. I am waiting for the buds to open on my plant... and I can't wait any longer!!!!!!! Congrats!

Thanks everybody!!!

Four of the five buds have not bloomed but I still can't detect any scent, even at night.

Try putting the plant in a place of TOTAL darkness at night, then try smelling it around 11pm. Mine smells something like fresh lilac and honey... but even the glow of a steet light can disturb it. Good luck!!!!!
