Default Help with flowering Lc. Aloha Case

I'm sure it's just me and not the plant, but I've had a Laeliocattleya Aloha Case for three years now and have yet to get it to bloom. Does anyone on the board grow--and, more importantly, flower--this hybrid? I know one of the parents is C. walkeriana, but that hasn't seemed to help me flower it. It gets great light, grows very well, is robust and disease free, but I never see flowers--which is rather frustrating since its cattleya neighbors flower regularly every year. I would love to hear from anyone who's experienced with this hybrid and can give me a few pointers. Thank you!

Steve

Laeliocattleya Aloha Case is now Sophrocattleya Aloha Case (as per RHS registry) as some Laelia have been reclassified as Sophronitis.

Sc. Aloha Case = Sophrocattleya Mini Purple X Cattleya walkeriana

Sophrocattleya Mini Purple = Sophronitis pumila X Cattleya walkeriana

Here is the IOSPE on

Steve, I have this one and bought it as a rather young plant Sept of 2007. I am doing the same as you as far as growing conditions. I just spotted a spike starting to come through. I used a little KLN on it. My friend bought the same plant on the same day and she didn't use KLN and has a spike started....so I can't say that made a huge difference. Just keep your eyes open as it seems to be the time of the season for it to do something.....I hope.
Don't you just hate the pokey ones?????
