There are lots of reasons, but there are two that come to the front of my mind with regards to light. Is it possible that you changed the position of the plant relative to its light source recently? I've had many species drop buds because of that. Or do you have nightlight coming on now when you didn't before?

The other thing could be cultural. The plant is skinny and looks a bit malnourished. It could just be too small to support blooms through the full cycle. I'd suggest more water during the growing season and maybe more water in the period leading up to the blooms. What is the light source and what is your fertilizer regimin?

First of all, Stephen, thank you for your answer. Your first hypothesis is not confirmed because the plant has always been in that position since I put it on the veranda in mid-October adding artificial light but only to reach a total of 11 hours.

I think the second hypothesis is more likely: it is a young plant that has tried to bloom without then having the strength. Lately I have wet it a little less (every two or three days) because it is in a plastic pot and has LECA and rock wool as its substrate. I think at the right time I will put it in another pot with bark as big as you suggest. Finally for the fertilization regimen I use Rainmix at a slightly reduced dosage every time I water and Kelpak once a month.

A warm greeting to a great expert 💪
