this is a super common hybrid. i believe it is so for a reason, it is awesome and makes a lot of lovely flowers

i have had to move my 'brass' section around a few times in the last two years bc i just could not get the sunlight proper....i have finally found the sweet spot and they are blowing up!

i have 7 more spikes on this one, yellow bird and green bird as well and some of the B cucullata and her hybrids are making spikes too!!!

About 10 miles. No real mountains....
Hills yes but my house is on top of the hill....

How does 'Little Stars' compare to B. nodosa? I've found nodosa seems to do best with lots of afternoon light.

They grow very well because to each other. I have all the brassavola now under the wave of my lath house. Very high light but always dappled. I think this is the key. A few are purple but most are that ideal light green so I think they are happy
