Yes, first meeting since February last year will take place on 17th January, providing everything goes well.
The first speaker will be talking about the Oncidium Alliance and hes sent a message to me via the club Secretary to say he will have plants for sale....

Just sharing another pic taken this morning of the flowers. Due to the rainy and over-cast days - it appears to be taking extra time to colour-up. The green colour has almost disappeared now.

It is a beautiful spotted pink. Does yours have fragrance? I've read some people say theirs is fragrant and some say it is not.

Here and there I've seen it sold in the US. I don't know whether they were seedlings or mericlones. I don't see it used as a parent in crosses offered for sale. Are most plants triploids?

Hi ES! This one does have a nice scent ES. The scent comes out quite easily for this one. Not on the weak side. A mild/medium power level. Not over-powering etc. The scent isn't in the 'expensive' perfume (designer perfume) range though hehehe. But is certainly pleasant. Not unpleasant at all.

What I mean about designer range is just ...... one of my mini-phals has an amazingly pleasant and elegant subtle scent ------ that could fall into a fantastic perfume category. But there are so many scents out there (orchids) ------ lots of nice scents!

This one is a 4n one. But I know that 're-makes' of the cross from some people are 3n, and also in 2n.

A few strains of ploidy!
