Default C. Sunrise Fantasy (Fire Fantasy x Pole-Star)

I might have posted the first photo before, but I couldn't locate the thread. I bought a bunch of these just over a year ago.

The first bloomed in late August, and the second was in bloom when I got to the greenhouse today. Hard to believe, but they came out of the same seed pod.

This is a true miniature. Pseudobulb + leaf is approximately 4" tall, and the flowers are about 1.1/4" NS.

A good example, of why you should consider buying more than one of seed grown hybrids.

Absolutely true ------- which is why breeders have to grow and flower as many as possible, in order to hopefully hit one or more 'jackpots' hehehe

Not too long ago, I bought a yellow flower mini-catt that has a shovel or scoop-shaped lip, and I think all its many siblings don't have that same feature. My old phone camera sometimes has lousy focusing ability. Maybe slightly sharper with the higher res pic here.

It wasn't me that removed the anther cap. Not sure if it fell off by itself, or the seller wanted to do some more 'experimenting'. I predict - for more 'experimenting'.
