Question Help with potting new Brassavola (little marmaid 'janet')

Hi ll - just got a bagged brassavola (little marmaid 'janet') and I am wondering about the best method for potting. we'd like to try mounting an orchid (which I feel we could accomplish on a more mature vanda than the one we have) due to limited space, but I was wondering if anyone had experience mounting this brassavola?

I am also wondering about the light needs, as all our others are phals, mostly.

Thanks!

Bc Little Mermaid is part of the Cattleya family (Brassocattleya) so it will take somewhat higher lighting than your phals.

Here's a sheet to help you:

I have one and think it is a very nice orchid. It will be purple with a large speckled lip. A little fragrant but not strong. Consistant bloomer but only once a year. Treat as suggested for Cattleya's
