Default Cattleya walkeriana- two siblings

Check out these two Cattleya walkeriana siblings with very different flower color! Both are 'Estrela da Colina' x sib that I picked up a few weeks ago at the recent Heart O' Texas Orchid Society show. One is a very dark lavender (I'm hoping for a rubra next year, we'll see) and one is alba. First bloom on both plants.

This is also the same cross as the C. walkeriana in my icon here on OB.

I also made a video with more in-depth discussion: Cattleya walkeriana 'Estrela da Colina' x sib- March 22, 2020 - YouTube

Wow, nice!
I just got my seedling first bloom on my 'Kenny'.
alba with just the slightest hint of lavender on fringe of lip. I love it!

The other known SIB of 'Estrela da Colina' is 'Dayane Wenzel'. That white one looks like her grandma.

Indeed! I've been looking for grandma (Orchidglade) available in the USA for a while. I guess this is as close as I'll get!
