WW - Yes, this is one of my favorites and I look forward to years down the road when I many different growths with lots more of spikes.

DC - Yes, you might have a problem and should consider seeking professional help, just kidding. If you can enjoy the flowers (voodoo lily, bulb. phal) while not minding the stench then have at it. I can tolerate the odor of this cochleata so I don't mind.

Interesting... I stuck my nose in mine again (two different plants, both started blooming in mid-September, still popping out new flowers as the old ones drop) and detect little or no smell (good or bad) at all.
