Question Need help w/Mini Catts to repot?

I recieved 4 new Mini Catts a few days ago which arrived from The Orchid Grove in 2.5 inch pots. They have heathly roots and I was thinking about repotting them in S/H medium. I guess I have 2 questions.

Are these Mini Catts good candidates for S/H?
If they are what size container should I use?

I just purchased 25 32oz clear containers at the local Cash and Carry. They work well for my other S/H pots.

Will wait to hear from you all .

I am not sure about the pot size, but my only recommendation is to make sure they are putting out new root growth or you risk the possibility of losing them.....do you know if they have new root growth?

Becca the roots I can see are very green/silver and the potting mix is very loose and minimal.

You'll want to wait to repot them until you see brand new root buds just starting (i.e. less than 1/2" long). The roots that have already grown out, even if they are white and healthy, won't be adapted to S/H so you will most likely lose them, so you want to make the change just as new baby roots are just starting.
I'd recommend holding off until you see new roots - try adding some K-L-N to your watering regime, and perhaps some seaweed extract - both contain hormones that encourage plants to put out new roots.
You'll want to use very small containers for small plants. The smallest I have is about the size of a 3" pot. Ray sells a good assortment on his site, and I'd suggest looking there; it's worth just a little money to have the right stuff for the job.
