Here's my aclandiae in bloom. Notice that there are leaves about 2" away from that LED panel. For reference a Vanda I tried acclimating to that level of light couldn't handle it and I had to back it off to about 6" away.

New bloming of my Cattleya aclandiae.
New pseudobulb grew up 42 days. Today it's blooming. Blooming time is 14 days. So 65-66 day full cycle and Cattleya aclandiae can bloom 5-6 times per year.

Wow! Is it always that fast? That's amazing, as well as beautiful.

i am very fond of Cattleya Quinquecolor - C. aclandiae x forbesii. It has a lot of the color of aclandiae though not quite as intense, but it also blooms two or three times a year (from the forbesii parent) as well as being cold-tolerant like forbesii

C. aclandiae grows incredibly quickly. I was able to get 3 sequential sets of blooms in the first half of the year when I grew in Hawaii. My plants usually sat quiet for the rest of the year though! Probably related to rainfall. Would have been great to get 5-6 blooms per year though.

I like the balance of colours/pattern on this one.
