I really like the Blc. Duh’s Wisdom Dreamy Star. Great colors and nice frills coming from Rl. digbyana.

Great growing with these. Is the smell in there, just as wonderful as the photos?

I thought it would, we have about a dozen cattleya in bloom right now, and it smells wonderful in the greenhouse. Do you notice that the color of blooms go in phases, as different plants come into bloom. Yours seem to be in the red-pink blooms phase, ours are in a yellow-orange phase, soon to be in the red-pink phase.
Your blooms are so well behaved. Most of ours like to go anywhere but up and usually point away from you. We do a lot of stakeing to get them act correctly and they still don’t look as good as yours. Awesome growing!!

Selmo,
Lots of reds in the Summer and Fall in the big Cattleyas.
Spring is my favorite, with Cattleya mossiae and trianae dominating the lavenders.
I do a lot of work staking and positioning flowers.
Sadly, I’ve knocked off many an inflorescence while wrangling those uncooperative buds!
