Default Gongora rufescens in bloom

My office is filled today with a sweet, fruity and clean smelling fragrance of G. rufescens.

I have had this orchid for many years and it flowers around this time every year. I have it potted in a net pot with LFS.

There are twenty six flowers on the 2 1/2' to 3' spike.

I love the red speckled color that my picture cannot really capture well.

Most people here at work just walk on by without giving it any attention. I, however, would stop dead in my tracks by the fragrance and beauty of the flowers if I visited someone else's office with it in bloom.
