There's apparently enough lack of clarity to go around; my intent was not to identify the plant in question, but to clarify which genus went with each spelling of the species.

I should know better than to post when I don't have time to think/type clearly and when viewing on my phone where the photos are so small that I can't really determine much... Lesson learned!

Truth be told I think that all of the spellings of warscewiczii should be spelled the same (but what do I know!)

A bit late on the reply, Laura, but I agree with you and I said it earlier;

FYI, I just searched it out and Josef Warscewicz is the man of the 1800's who a lot of orchids are named after. IMHO, the other 2 spellings are registered misspelling mistakes !!!

Unless there are 3 people with names that close that have been historically involved with orchids, my logic is correct and the other 2 are misspelled mistakes that happen to be registered ! How's that PC phrase go ? "Operator error, garbage in = garbage out !"
