Default Catasetum Mem.Veera Mc millan'Millianium Queen'

Hi to all,
Here is the image of Catastum Hybrid,the cross was done by our society member,named after his mom and it won A.O.S. award,also made a full page picture in A.O.S.magazine.

wow... very very nice one... like the contrast between the green on the sepals (outside) and the red on the petals and labellum (inside)..

Do you by chance know what the parents are? I cannot find it in RHS...

I would be interested to see exactly what it is behind... I can see some strong influence from expansum and probably barbatum (or similar)... color from imperial? hhmm...

whatever... a plant I would not missed teh opportunity to buy if I had the chance...

Veekay, it is really great hybrid!!! I love the influence of expansum in it and this " heart -shaped" callus is very charming! Coloration of the flowers is brilliant! Great hybrid! And thank you so much for sharing!

Really cool plant and the display awesome. As Gena said, the expansum influence is very strong in this hybrid and the color is fantastic. Also I like very much the aserrate lip. Congratulations Veekay.
