Default Two New Arrivals

These are my newest babies. The first is a Stanhopea Ronsard (wardii x occulata). It looks healthy but the basket it's growing in has rather small holes. I plan on repotting it in the near future.

My other new addition is a Catasetum pileatum 'Oro Verde'. It arrived with tiny blisters on it's leaves but it doesn't seem to be suffering. It has gorgeous buds that should be opening any day now and a second spike is beginning to emerge. I've decided not to repot this one until after dormancy when new growth begins.

Very nice purchases! I don't have either of these type orchids, but they look like they're in great condition. I can't wait to see the blooms. Keep us posted!

The Ctsm. was purchased on Ebay and the vender was Odom's Orchids. They're located in Fort Pierce, Florida. I've seen their booths at local Orchid Shows and they sell healthy, nice sized, specimens at reasonable prices. They took great care in shipping and the plant was delivered in pristine condition 2 days after my payment cleared. I'm a very satisfied customer. Here's my latest bud progression photo.

Very nice. I've seen Odom's around at various shows.
