hello

can someone help me identify the stanhopea on the following pics??

Can't be sure from the photos, but I have a Stan inodora that looks very similar...

the pics are so small....difficult to say....but I agree with Laura, Stan ruckeri is a good guess (there is no longer "Stan inodora")

Hi Laura!

The changing names is result from an error of J. Lindley, who put two different names for the same plant (Stan ruckeri and Stan inodora). Recently this error was discovered, and the oldest name prevails (Stan ruckeri). Probably Lindley didn't had a living plant in his hands (only a herbarium dried specimen?), then "inodora"!
