Default Cycnoches Jean E. Monnier

Cycnoches Jean E. Monnier is in flower at the moment. It is rather pretty hybrid in my opinion.
Here it is.

Beautiful! Mine is in flower, too, but with fewer flowers and poorer presentation. It also has some lighter spots on petals, do you know what they might be?

Wow! I really like it when the pink of the barthiorum comes through in its progeny. This is a real show stopper! Congrats!

Nice.

It's also named after one of the owners of JEM Orchids (went out of business or changed how they do business - whatever...).

Actually, Gene Monnier retired. He's lives here in Hawaii now, free of hurricanes!

He has a personal stash at his place that I was able to buy some stuff from about a year or two ago, but other than that, no. He said he might get back into it on a smaller scale, but he lives on a working orchard/farm that keeps him pretty busy. Sorry, Gena for the thread hijack!
