Default Catasetum (osculatum x vinaceum)

Hybrid between Catasetum osculatum and Catasetum vinaceum is in flower now for the very first time. I think it is rather interesting hybrid. Here it is.

Well …. Unfortunately not that much as I wanted, I’m very limited by space. Two rooms apartment is too small for a “catasetinaeholic” ……

Gena, it is very beautiful - vivid, deep color! It does not keep much of the osculatum, does it?
Still, all catasetums are desirable beyond the limits of reason.

I Love the serrated lip and the way that it curls back!
Great job with the growing and blooming!
