Default Stanhopea wardii still alive

A year ago I got a S. wardii from Peru. The bulbs looked healthy, but nothing happened. I bought a gongora as well, and it grew a new bulb rapidly and flowered this summer. I put the wardii in a bag with spaghnum, it has been there for about 4 months. The last month I haven't checked at all, just forgot about the whole plant. Then - yesterday, I saw the bag with spagh in my bedroom's windowsill. Ok lets look inside... I was quite sure nothing had happened BUT what did I see

Guess I have heard it before: Just "forget" your orchids for a while - and amazing things will happen

WTG, guess that analogy goes along with "a watch pot never boils"...my luck with a sphag n bag is much like Wendy's so this time I got psuedo's from a friend and have them in medium/sphag watering daily with frequent misting, well see...
