Default Cycnoches ventricosum x chlorochilon

A very reiaible bloomer. In fact right now it has two open flowers and two buds ready to open on two different spikes. It's the second blooming this season. (this pic is from two years ago) The flower are VERY sweetly scented and can smell up the whole house. Yummy!

Now, I like that. I think next year I am going to try growing cycnoches....my wife feel in love with Cycnoches Wine Delight. We have a friend that has it and bloomed this year and she loved it. I think that if it has a pleasant fragrance, my wife will like it...LOL So, bulbos are OUT!!

It's an easy orchid to grow and bloom...you'll love it and your wife will love the scent. The flowers last about a week...ten days if you are really lucky.

Yes, but right now because of the rareness of the plant, it might be expensive. Fred Clark came to our orchid society for a talk and he said it might be 2 years before the plant is readily available.
