Default stanhopea embreei

this is stanhopea embreei that just bloomed for me. i grow it in a slat basket with broken peaces of clay pot at the bottom and the rest geolite and dyna rock II it works well.

Awesome! I really like the pronounced eyespots. You also use a very unusual potting media. Im curious about why you chose this media instead of the traditional spag? Thanks for any info!

i chose that media because i got hit with scale and i remebered as a kid and doing hydroponics that a hydroponic mix holds less pest and less rot so i took all my plants and repoted them in this mix and treated them for scale and haven't had a problem sence and on top of that i've been flowering stuff like crazy ,like never before in the 8 years of growing orchids.
