Hey Rallygirl.
Sound like you already know exactly what to do with this little tike. Just make sure he gets plenty of air movement, they don't like stagnent conditions. Also a little fertilizer often is the best way to keep him fed.
Anyway keep us updated on any progress.
Cheers Craig

Default Gongora

Hi all, this is my first essay in posting. I have a couple of Gongora : armenaica, quinquenervis(do I have that spelled right?) and chocoensis. The armenaica bloomed last winter and the chocoensis bloomed last week. The blooms lasted only a few days...maybe a week. There were five on the spike and they were adorable...like little flying dragons in red and white....no fragrance that I could detect. I think I got the Armenaica from Hoosier and the others from Carter Holmes. I've only had any orchids at all for a couple of years so I appreciate any and all advice. Everyone is out in the shade house my son built on the north side of the house for me after a tree limb fell on my gazebo and damaged it beyond repair. Sorry to be so chatty.
