Very much female

And I’m pretty sure it’s been established that cross has been mislabeled, all I’ve seen posted with that tag have bloomed out to have some fuschii in the mix

Thanks that's what I was thinking. I didn't think I had the conditions to produce female flowers, looking forward to the little octopi

That's a lot of girls on one spike! Very happy plant!

I don't normally do "bud watch", but I'm really excited to see these blooms - they look like little aliens.

Well they have finally opened (or hatched ). They are scented - like mango with a bit of cat pee.

The first spike got eaten by a snail, the plant then produced a second spike and then fell off the windowsill and dropped nine feet, so I'm glad to get any spike - next year I'm hoping for boys.

Nice, you’ve got a few hermaphrodites in there too. Is this a first blooming?

It looks like it. I only got it this spring, there were no signs of old spikes on the bulbs, plus they were quite small.

Forgive me, I've been growing orchids for years but no nothing about theses plants; it's possible to control what sex the flowers will be?? How does that work?

Very nice plant by the way, the blooms look a bit alien-ish! That plant has been through a lot, what a miracle the spike didn't snap with such a fall.
