Default Fdk. After Dark

A big husky plant, it spent most of the summer outdoors but came in when it started to spike.

Yes, it is Fredclarkeara After Dark 'Sunset Valley Orchids' FCC/AOS. I purchased it from Sunset Valley at the Pacific Orchid Expo in San Francisco in 2014.

Fred really got it off to a good start. I have another After Dark that I've had since it was a seedling which I got in 2009. It is spiking now, but it is smaller than this one, with only one inflorescence.

Fred is really doing some great breeding. The flower on my Cyncnoches (first bloom, one flower) that I bought from him in an early summer OS group order lasted nearly a month. I was impressed. I wish I had room for more of his stuff.
