I got this plant as an import over a year ago. Apparently, it hasn't forgiven me just yet for taking it from it's previous home because it only gave me one flower. Although, one is better than none! The flower smells like cough drops (the kind that don't taste good).

Ah, it looks so cool! These flowers intrigue me. Hopefully on its way to more blooms next time around, now that it's adjusted!

Cool looking bloom. At least it doesn't smell like dog poo.

And that is the exact color I've been searching for w/this species! LOVE that one!! I really don't want any of the other color yellow/orange/brown-ish colors I've seen...but I do love the spotty, pink-ish one you found. I've also seen pics of a darker almost 2 tone pink one w/spots and I would take that one too. VERY nice!!

If you don't mind me asking...do you recall who you got this one from?

BTW - it's revoluta now.

I don't mind at all, I got it off ebay from veracruz37. I have read that some people have been unhappy when purchasing plants from him, but I have gotten some hard to find plants at prices that were impossible to pass up. I know he imports them and then sells them, so they need some T.L.C., but that's fine by me. I haven't seen them for sale from him since I purchased this over a year ago. If you can't find one, I would be happy to make note of it and when it is time to divide (probably a few years) contact you.

Thanks for the name! In my experience...all imports require a bit of TLC to get them adjusted and I don't mind either. Especially if the prices is right!

And, yes!, please do keep me in mind. I'll continue my searching but if I don't find one by the time you're dividing, I'd love to get a division. Watch my (somewhat infrequent) pic posts and if there's anything I have that's of interest to you...maybe we can do a trade.

I've only gotten a few from that vendor, but they seemed fine to me! Unusual stuff too.
