My great respect for growing this bulb into a healthy flowering plant. But it is not warscewiczii, it is Cycnoches lehmannii from western Ecuador and north of Peru (male flowers of course). You lucky bastard you!!

Is there any cultural difference between this and warscewiczii? I was assuming a dry winter rest?

Thanks, now the pup has grown up a bit and stopped eating everything the plant should get some proper care. I felt bad not giving it sunshine, but it does seem quite happy

I like too many (and I have quite a few) to give suggestions. My favs being those in the mormodes and clowesia (esp the Cl!) groups but I like so many so I wouldn't even know where to begin.

Both species undergo a winter rest, but there is no difference in the rest behaviour between the two species.
