Cherry cough syrup with a bit of blackcurrant when in full bloom. Roadworks (stagnant earth and hot tar) when first starting opening! Luckily not strong at that stage...

Mine takes a few days to open fully, then is only in full bloom for a week or so. Though I do have it off cycle: last year it bloomed at Christmas, and it's not topped off it's new pulb yet this year.

I'm glad you said how long they last....I was a little sad the older flowers on mine were wilting already.
