Default Catasetum Ten Dragons

(Catasetum tenebrosum ‘Ed Wise' #3 X Catasetum Dragon Teeth ‘SVO’ AM/AOS)

I only have four flowers on this and two buds have blasted. The grower/seller gave me a picture of what might come out as flowers (last picture) my plant have produced a dominant strain of 'alba' on the left picture bloom and I dont know how to distinguish if my flowers are male or female or both.
The culture I follow on this is from the SVO site.

If that is pollen...male. Otherwise, no idea. Cool green. My only green is an aeranthes. I am trying to buy more varity but I still picked up two more white orchids at the Pgh show. Sigh. Does this one have a fragrance?

Definitely male. I've never seen an alba variety of this cross. It's pretty cool!

very nice Ten Dragons... this is the second alba form of this cross I see.. just gorgeous!

your plants are male: check the flat lip pointing downwards and the presence of antennae! Female flowers would tend to have a rounded/hooded lip pinting upwards and no antennae...

just a correction, the alba feature is not dominant, but a rezessive (recesive!?) character shown in very few plants.

Leafmite and you have so far confirmed it is male.
And its good to know that it has a recessive trait....

Gorgeous!
That is one of the genuses I never tried to grow. The rest period scares me a bit.
