Thank you, Jerry...this is a Forum for open minds and we dont take it personal. As long as we discuss matters in a way that benefits everyone...in an adult, matured and civilized manner.

As Mentioned before, you can call it Miss Piggy if you want, but it will stay a Cycnodes NOID anyway... we were just trying to help.... as for experience, I think that 28 years growing Catasetinae, over 300 Catasetinae in my collection, a record of 7 lectures about Catasetinae, including taxonomy and culture, and having spent the first 26 years of my life in one of the countries where Catasetinae grow wild, and Cycnoches chlorochilon being the most common wild epiphyte in our farm, gives me enough experience to tell you that you and the seller of your plant are completely wrong!

That is easy for you to say...but back it up with palpable proofs:

heres an example:

* this is a paplpable proof of someone who can boast on being an expert on this plant...

as far as I googled it; Ramon's written articles are only in slippertalk and on this Board and on Flicker...I have not seen any paper or lectures or dissertations under his name in any google or French university lecture series or in any European lecture series for the past 10 years...
At least one will surface if there is such a thing as professor Ramon or maybe its in another name

I see you just showed who you are... Orchids are my hobby not my job... did you check with my actual family name? ah... FYI, I have no need to proof anything neither to you nor to anyone... as I mentioned once ago at the Orchid Society, while giving a presentation there, and as part of a joke, "I must be getting old.... as I have lost tolerance to stupidity... "

as I said before, you have a beautiful Cycnodes NOID 'Miss Piggy' enjoy it....

its not stupidity... its just asking for palpable proof...you have to back up your boast; which you still have to in order for me to beleive that waht you say is true...
because my hybrider has proven to me his worth in grain of salt...you have yet to prove to me that you are what you say who you are.

So are you insinuating that Walter S. Judd agrees with you in your complete and ridiculous identification of this plant?

I thought not!

Get over yourself please.

I dont know who Mr. Judd is...its an example of a person who can tell me what is really right about all this...and he has a phone number and an email...I can always ask his expert opinion and send him a sample to DNA my plant...
I dont have to get over anything. I need to know the truth. Thats all.

no need of DNA sample... just send him a picture of your plant and your assumption on the name... and then, if he replies to you... we continue discussing this... as for now, I see no more added value to continue this (in the meantime) ridiculous discussion....
