Default double spikes on stanhopea candida?

just checked out the stanhopea thats hanging in the shower and it is pushing out 5 spikes at present time! The weird thing is that one pbulb is sending out 2 seperate spikes. I didnt realize candida would do that. Is this normal, or is this just one happy chid?

Ok you cant see all the spikes but this gives you a general idea of overall size. The large spike actually has 3 buds on it. Last summer itonly had 2 buds per spike. If I am correct this one blooms twice a year.
