It funny you say that. At one time, not long ago I thought all Stans and Catasetums were simply hideous monstrosities that did not belong in the Orchid group. Then I bought a Cycnoches and it was all over. For some reason, if you like one group, you are naturally drawn to the other. I don't know why, but that's the way it works with the Stans and Catasetinae! |

I really like this flower! It almost looks like a little cherry blossom print.
I love this group because of the vast difference in the style of flowers it produces...

GORGEOUS! You're so right, you try one and in no time, you're hooked. I've been surveying my growing area, trying to make room for additional Stanhopeas that are now on my "must have" list (only have the wardii so far).
