So normally I dont post pics of my 'chids when they rebloom a few months after my original post. However, this plant is so young and so small that I was absolutely blown away when I saw that it was throwing out another spike and had 2 flowers this time! This little guy is fresh out of a 2 inch pot and its flowering for the 2nd time this year with no new growth!!!!! Crazy!!! And the scent is absolutley mind blowingly awesome! I really cant say enough great things about this species!!

Thanks Beto! The other plant in the pic is Coryanthes gernotii. Its putting out a new growth, but I will be expecting its first bloom sometime soon. Its still a very young plant.

Great job Steve! Gotta love those Stans. This one has such cute little stubby horns. OK, what's the deal with the press & seal?

lolol I was wondering if anyone was going to notice that! I have to put itn on my small baskets (I think they are like 4") because they just dry out too quickly here, even though I water EVERY day!! I was getting dry spag (thats the only ingredient in my Stan media) and shrivelled bulbs so I put some cling wrap around the sides and voila! Healthy plants! I no longer plant in such small baskets any more, but live and learn!

Awesome pics, Steve. They really show of the misty spotting and waxiness of the bloom very well!
BTW, I can attest to the exceptional quality of TOF's orchids. This past spring I ordered an Enc. garciana, an Enc. cochleat x Enc. vespa, and an Oerstedella wallisii x sib. They also sent a free Epi horichii with my order! How cool is that?! All plants arrived very healthy and surprisingly mature. In fact, I hope to post pics very soon of the now in bud Oerstedella. Cue the music to "I'm So Excited" right now!
