I suppose ther are kinds of spider mites adapted to our conditions. Infestations don't happen very often. Only a handful of plants ever had them but they were really bad infestations. It was so bad that I had to get rid of some of those plants.

That's good to know. It has been raining at least once a week for a few weeks now. I'll be keeping a close eye on it to make sure they don't become a problem if they do show up.
