Default “Small” victory

The first of my SVO seedlings purchased a few months ago has bloomed! This is a Ctsm. Melana Davison ‘Summer Snow’ x Ctsm. (Dentigrianum x Tigrinum) ‘Bold Spots’) I’m afraid this guy didn’t get as much light as he may have needed (hence the horizontal growth) but I’m just glad I haven’t killed any yet!

My first males and I’m happy! I’m a fan of how the lip stayed mostly white—I enjoy the contrast between the lip and the raspberry speckling on the petals & sepals most!

The rest of my Catasetinae are all supposed to be very dark or very colorful, so I needed some white to balance things out; I only have this and another one that’s supposed to be white and spotty!
