Yellowing Monnierara
Default Yellowing Monnierara

Monn. Millennium Black Magic. The pseudobulbs and main plant have yellowed and I'm wondering if its a sign of too much light or under fertilizing. Everything looks and feels good despite the yellowing. No other issues. The greener side in the photos is the "back" of the plant

It's outside under a covered pergola. Lots of bright dappled light. Maybe 2-3 hours of direct sun daily

It does look as though the yellowing areas were facing the sun, and got too much. The angle of the sun is changing as we move towards Fall.

I was thinking the same. Shady conditions, then it got blasted with a few hours of sun.

I think this plant could use a bit more sun, but slowly introduced incrementally so it doesn't get additional sun stress.
