A great cross that I got from SVO last year. It bloomed as a seedling with one flower last year, and despite a serious setback has put out four on this spike with another coming.

I focus on fragrant orchids and it is hard to think of a more powerfully fragrant bloom than this one. I've caught whiffs all over my house for the last couple days. It swells like very sweet banana candy.

I somehow messed this up and its first attempt at new growth rotted. This mature cane is the second attempt. I cant wait to see what it does next year without such a setback.

Interesting air roots at the base of the flower spikes.

75% warscewiczii, 25% chlorochilon

Amazing blooms - your Cycnoches are all doing spectacularly well. Do you grow it any different from your Catasetums? I got a cycnoches warscewiczii earlier this year but it has struggled terribly.

Thanks Jeff! I had two that struggled, one catasetum and one cycnoches. I treated them all the same. They are such hardy plants that they can come back from almost anything. I did mostly PET method and follow Stephen Van Campen-Lewis' guidance (with a couple mods).
