Whoah! Agreed, it looks huge. Is this first blooming EVER, or this go-round? I know very little about the genus.

This is the first blooming for me. I bought a division from Stephen Moffitt some years ago. I've been to his place a few times so I suspect this plant has bloomed for him previously on other divisions. He chops up his plants every year and sells them!
