Bulb. Vietuameuse? Female
Default Bulb. Vietuamense?

This little darling was included as a free gift with my bulb. maximum (who doesn't love freebees?). I couldn't find a lot of info on it except that it was from Vietnam.. duh. I'm assuming it's a warm-hot grower since the growers I got this from lives in south Louisiana like I do, but I wanted to see if any of you had any experience with this mini. Most of my bulbos are grown mounted and I have a kool log that this little guy might be a good candidate for. Thoughts?

I wouldn't mount a tiny Bulbo seedling. Too much risk it might dry out. Maybe when it's grown bigger.

A Kool Log might keep the plant too cool for a lot of people, but maybe not in your climate.

Bill Thoms, who has lots of awards on Bulbos, writes he never mounts them because they grow so much better in low baskets of moss, watered daily. He wasn't able to keep up with the watering on mounts.

Indeed. The tag was spelled wrong or the letter smudged, either way thanks for catching that!

So I just got the book by Bill Thoms. What an awesome source! Hilarious too I'm trying to resist mounting some of my bulbos, i'd say a good 2/3 are already up on plaques, but I just have to learn to embrace the fact that they refuse to stay in the potting media. I tend to get all freaked out when the pseudobulbs and roots are flying around and drying out
