Several ways. Some are better in some situations.

1 Click on any member's name when you see a post by them in a thread. Go to their profile or Find all posts by member.

If you go to their profile, In the Statistics tab are selections to view all threads or all posts by this member. They will be listed in reverse chronological order.

2 Click Members in the top maroon bar to see an alphabetic list of all members. Click on somebody's name and use the procedure above.

3 Use the Search function, Advanced search. Put the words in the box at the top left and the username (full or partial) in the box at the top right. Realize a computer thinks estacion and estación are different words, so you will not find my posts if you enter estacion. But I think there aren't many partial matches to seca so you can use that for a partial match.

You can also ask Andy. He responds to email and you can also call him and ask for advice. He really knows his plants, too. On his website, too, he gives the growing conditions for the orchids (and you should have gotten the information with your receipt, too).

I gave in, too.

I don't know what I'll get. All 20 varieties were still listed on the page, but the promotional E-mails said many were sold out. We'll see what shows up,

I'm glad I wasn't the only one who was bit by the winter sale bug!
We should use this thread to keep each other up to date on what our Andys winter sale orchids are doing/ how the are being cultivated.

And you?

I ordered for myself, sister, and mother!
I'm probably most excited for the Bulbophyllum blumei and Scaphosepalum swertifolium Also ordered Coelogyne fuliginosa.
My sister wanted the Scaph. and Encyclia chimborazoensis. Got my mother Dracula papillosa.

I'm going to call to add more to my order after some additional requests

I tried to find proper mounts for the Bulbos at the pet store and they did not have much choice this time (not Petsmart) so I ended up buying some shallow, sculpted reptile bowls and planting them in that, with NZ sphagnum as the medium. The Dracula is planted in a shallow dish with NZ sphagnum as well. My sale orchids came on January 19, 2017 and I have them all in a ten gallon aquarium. I plan to give away the Encyclia either this week or next.

Our local humane society has a second-hand store where you can buy things like low, sturdy plastic dog bowls.
