Default Bulbophyllum sanguineum advice please

Advice please. My new Bulbophyllum sanguineum was not in the best shape when I got it a few weeks ago. I trimmed out the dead or mushy pseudo bulbs, with a single use razor blade used on this plant only.

Plant seemed happy enough and was putting on 2 new grows. When I was getting everything organized for weekly fertilizing this morning I noticed both had shriveled and died. Thoughts? Ideas?

Growing conditions: mounted and hanging on edge of open top terrarium, humidity stays around 70%, temps stay between 20-25 C. West facing window (with supplemental lighting), water when mount is dry, usually daily, with household water that is run through our whole house filter (no softening just filtration). 1/4 strength fertilizer weekly.

I'm not an expert, but I've read a book by an expert. Read what I wrote here:

New Bulbophyllums -tingabarinum and bicolor

I can speak from experience that when I didn't water my plants enough, the new growths turned black and died, just as yours are. When I was able to water daily this did not happen.

Thanks! I'm misting but not heavy watering daily. I'll try giving it a day drench to see if it improves.
