GRRR SO ANNOYED

The damned flies stole the pollinia the second day, and the next day the flower folded. ARGH !! !

Next time I am going to experiment with keeping the pollinia in the flower. I might try a dab of white glue in there.

Thank you two for the information. I knew that "smell" usually means stink in case of bulbophyllums but since I do not have a greenhouse I would not like my home smell like poop or "rotten death". :-)

However, I will give Wilbur Chang a try (if I will get it to bloom at all) hoping the smell won't be that powerful.


Thank you for updating regularly. I really enjoy sharing the thrill of the developing buds.

Moved indoors last week because of cool weather (and to keep away from blasted flies!)

Three flowers soon to be open at once! And of course, judging was this PAST weekend ! !

Color is somewhat distorted by the metal halide lamp.
