Lol! I didn't even look at the category just your title and knew you were writing about this plant. This is one of my favorites. When mine is outdoors and in bloom I love the way the flowers moves in the wind.

Yours is very pretty and a much lighter color than mine. Great blooming!

Thank you!

DeaC, I bet our plants are siblings. ^_^ I also bought mine in 2010 but as a blooming size plant. It has been blooming for 3 years. As you can see in the photo, I keep it in pure sphagnum moss in a 5" octagon plastic basket. I keep it very wet during Spring through Fall. It's always sitting in a tray of water about 0.5cm. I need to refill it everyday because the water usually evaporated pretty fast here in South Florida and most of the time the tray is dry the next morning. During winter, I will let the bulbs trays dry for 1-2 days between. If the temperature is below 50-55f I will not fill the tray but just mist the top. I never bring it indoor since it won't get very cold here and she seems fine with the 90f-100f heat in Summer. She is inside a covered porch and getting 2-3 hours of direct early morning sun and indirect bright light the rest of the day. I used the 180 days nutricote time release granules and spray it with 1/2 strength Better-gro urea free occasionally. I am not an expect but I hope this will help you.

ChryT...appreciate the detailed reply! I've seen smaller plants blooming so I'm sure it's mature enuf but I'm gonna up the light and repot to pure s/m as you've done. Other bulbos have not been as difficult and I'm determined! Like the nutricote suggestion too-we'll see!
