Default flower stalk on cirrhopetalum

Could nr two be a flower stalk, or is it a root? And is number one a new growth or flower stalk?
I know it might be to early but i am very exited that it might be a flower stalk. This is my Cirrhopetalum Elizabeth Ann buckleberry.

Number 1 looks like a new growth to me. From the faraway shot, number 2 looks like a root, but it is maybe too soon to tell. Mine bloomed around Christmas time and the spike, when it was small looked different to me. But give it a week, and you should know for sure.

Do you mean a root? Roots are good also and keep us posted when it blooms for you.

Looking good but I cannot tell yet what it will be. Frustrates me with all my bulbos but my Buckleberry has one spike with developing flowers now so I'll send good thoughts your way!
